It comes with options to use the standard character portraits. Theres actually no need to edit any portraits. You just put the screenpacks folder in the data folder and then set your motif (in mugen.cfg) to use it.ĭont be afraid to try some stuff out and ask questions and search the forums for answers. Mugen 1.0 screenpacks should work in 1.1, so just be aware of that too. The only problem is that its not done yet. Im looking for the same thing and thats why I decided to make my own. Shameless self-promotion: While its not done yet, it basically fits what youre looking for. Would prefer a simple screenpack that sorta aint based on any game in paticular like EvE, Fighters Megamix (My current screenpack actually), Broken Mugen and a few others from older versions were, and also prefer to have a decent amount of slots maybe around 100-200.

Looking to finally upgrade from 1.0 but I dont really see anything I like since just about 90 of 1.1 screenpacks so far are actual game-based ones.
